Admissions are based on academic achievement, service, experience in education and passion for teaching. Competitive applicants are expected to have an ACT score of 28 or SAT composite score of 1250 and a high school GPA of at least 3.5.
Required application materials include:
- ACT or SAT scores
- High school transcripts
- Resume detailing employment, extra curricular and education-related experience
- Letters of recommendation from teachers and/or counselors
- Personal statement (200 words)
- Application essay (500 – 700 words)
Applicants may be asked to visit either Ole Miss or MSU for an interview with faculty.
Scholarships are awarded after students receive available financial aid.
